1. Overview

At ABA Appliances Repair, we stand behind the quality of our work and the appliances we sell. Due to the nature of refurbished and open-box appliances, our policies are structured to ensure fairness, transparency, and clarity for both our customers and our business.

2. Appliance Sales – Final Sale Policy

All refurbished, used, scratch-and-dent, and open-box appliances are FINAL SALE.

We do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds for:

  • Change of mind
  • Incorrect measurements or fit
  • Cosmetic concerns
  • Colour or model preference
  • Delivery access issues
  • Customer-caused damage
  • Improper installation by third parties

Customers are responsible for confirming:

  • Measurements and clearances
  • Doorways, stairwells, and access paths
  • Electrical / plumbing compatibility

3. Functional Warranty 

Refurbished and used appliances include a limited functional warranty:

  • Warranty period: 30-60 days (as specified on invoice or listing)
  • Covers: Mechanical or electrical failure under normal residential use
  • Does NOT cover:
    • Cosmetic issues
    • Improper installation
    • Misuse or neglect
    • Plumbing or electrical supply issues
    • Commercial use
    • Transportation damage after pickup

Warranty service must be performed by ABA Appliances Repair only.

4. Service & Repair Work

All diagnostic, labour, installation, and service charges are non-refundable once service is completed.

If a repair issue arises:

  • Customers must notify us within the labour warranty period
  • We will reassess and correct workmanship issues if applicable

Parts warranty is subject to manufacturer terms.

5. Damaged Items Upon Delivery

Customers must report delivery damage within 24 hours.

Failure to report within this timeframe may void eligibility for:

  • Service support
  • Claims assistance
  • Exchange consideration

6. Delivery & Installation Fees

  • Delivery, installation, and haul-away services are:

    Non-refundable once completed.

    If delivery fails due to:

    • Inaccessible property
    • Incorrect measurements
    • Unsafe conditions

    Additional delivery charges may apply.

7. Damaged or Faulty Items

If your appliance arrives damaged or doesn’t function as expected:

  • Report the issue within 24 hours of delivery.

  • We will arrange for repair, exchange, or refund depending on the situation.

8. Warranty Service Area

  • Warranty service is provided within our standard service area.

    Customers outside this area may be required to:

    • Transport the appliance to our shop
    • Pay travel fees
